Getting there: the Yasawa Flyer catamaran runs daily from Denarau Marina, with most resorts reachable via a single boat trip of one to five hours depending on location in the chain. What it's known for internationally: budget dorm-style and mid-range resorts, day trips, and island-hopping passes — largely because that segment has historically had the most visible marketing. What gets less coverage: a smaller number of upscale and boutique properties in the Yasawas, along with community-based tourism initiatives that channel more revenue directly to local villages rather than through larger resort operators.
